Mobile map

"Mobile map" is the unique service based on technology of "Location Based Services". With this service you won’t roam about the city searching for hotel, café, drug store or automatic cash terminal. There’s no need to ask passers-by. All that you need is your mobile phone and request sending to "Mobile map" service.

With the help of "Mobile map" you can:

• At any moment get information about your location and send this info by SMS*, MMS* or e-mail to your friend.
• To find nearest object, at example cinema, supermarket, museum or maintenance station. In "Mobile map" base there are over 34 categories in 6 cities of Ukraine and 14 categories all over Ukraine.
• To find any address and learn route according to indicated address (taking into account traffic direction).

In addition you can make use of Ukraine’s map and maps of Kyiv, Dnepropetrovsk, Donetsk, Odessa, Lvov, Zaporozhe and Kharkov. Later on the list of cities’ maps will be enlarged.

How to use "Mobile map"

We offer you several variants — via SMS, USSD, WAP** и MMS**. Select the most convenient for you:

WAP: Visit wap.starport.com.ua "Info and Services" / "Mobile map" section.

Depending on the request, information can be provided by:

• SMS with text and WAP-reference for map view.
• MMS** with several map fragments of different scale and WAP-reference for map view.
• WAP** — in this case you get map fragment with the possibility of ranging and route planning.

"Mobile map" cost

Till 19.11.2006 information about your location, object location, address or route planning is free.

Cost of SMS or USSD-request is 0,05 UAH. WAP-access is charged according to your current tariff plan.

Starting from 20.11.2006 nformation about your location, object location, address or route planning will cost:

• SMS-answer — 0,80 UAH.
• MMS-answer — 1,20 UAH.
• Map at WAP-page or route planning — 1,00 UAH.

Rates are indicated including VAT and excluding PF-duty.

* SMS or MMS sending is possible only for Kyivstar subscribers.

** n order to use WAP and MMS services one should set up these services on phone. You can do it simply dialing 477 (calls from Kyivstar network numbers are free).
